Last week more than 2200 Best Western International members
and guests spent the week in Toronto for the Best Western North American Annual
Convention.
Best Western’s charity arm, Best Western For A
Better World (BWBW) has a long-standing tradition of hosting an event at a
local school in the city where it’s annual Convention is held. In partnership with Scholastic, BWBW
donates books to the school children and Best Western members volunteer their
time to read to the children and distribute the books. This year BWBW chose Ryerson Community
School in Toronto as the beneficiary of the event. At the event, Best Western members were
joined by Scholastic characters Clifford the Big Red Dog and Geronimo
Stilton.
BWBW also presented a donation of $5000 to principal Craig Tsuji
for the Ryerson Community School’s nutrition program.
