TORONTO—On Sept. 18, Crowne Plaza Toronto Airport welcomed 125 sponsors and volunteers who support Youth Without Shelter to celebrate the 17,024 safe shelter nights provided to homeless youth in 2014. The evening’s theme was “get the big picture” and guests did, through a hands-on YWS Passport Experience that saw them complete a number of tasks and chores typical of daily life within the shelter.

Youth and corporate partners spoke to YWS's impact and youth residents shared their vocal talents with musical performances.

The evening was fully sponsored by Crowne Plaza Toronto Airport, a long-time supporter of YWS, with food stations provided by the hotel’s award-winning culinary team. Crowne Plaza Toronto Airport's staff are looking forward to serving an October Thanksgiving dinner to YWS's youth.
