Sheraton Gateway serves meals to ill children’s families

TORONTO — Sheraton Gateway Hotel, at Toronto Pearson International Airport, on May 10 served more than 100 meals to families with serious ill children.

TORONTO — Sheraton Gateway Hotel, at Toronto Pearson International Airport, on May 10 served more than 100 meals to families with serious ill children in hopes that a warm comforting meal would distract them for a few moments while they came together at the dinner table.   

Established in 1981, Ronald McDonald House Charities Toronto provides a home away from home for seriously ill children and their families to heal better together. The organization operates a house for 81 families in downtown Toronto and family rooms in hospitals across the Greater Toronto Area.

More than a dozen leadership and front-line associates volunteered for the event.
