ABLE BC showcases suppliers at industry reception

VANCOUVER — B.C.’s Alliance of Beverage Licensees (ABLE BC) hosted an industry reception and liquor industry networking event on June 25 at the Labatt Beer Institute in Vancouver.

VANCOUVER — B.C.’s Alliance of Beverage Licensees (ABLE BC) hosted an industry reception and liquor industry networking event on June 25 at the Labatt Beer Institute in Vancouver, at which ABLE showcased dozens of its preferred suppliers, including alcohol importers, B.C. wineries, shelving and storage solutions, marketing and sales consultants, POS management, foodservice providers and employee benefits.

In attendance were ABLE BC’s board of directors, staff and 100 industry professionals, who sampled new products, learned about innovative hospitality services, discussed current liquor issues and networked. The Hon. Suzanne Anton, Minister of Justice and Attorney General, also attended as a featured guest at the event, which was sponsored by Labatt Beer and Desjardins Payment Services. In her remarks, the Minister discussed challenges in the liquor industry and thanked ABLE BC for its continued role as a positive industry advocate.
