Vancouver celebrated its 60th anniversary at the Gramercy
Grill, where Chef Dennis Huang has a flair for marrying locally sourced
ingredients to create culinary masterpieces, which were accompanied by an
abundance of the best of BC VQA wines.
The party, in the Kitsilano neighbourhood, welcomed one and all to Skål’s
celebration. There were be raffle prizes, a special anniversary
celebration, and a presentation of the club’s history.
This event was held on Wednesday,
September 10 at the Gramercy Grill, 2685 Arbutus St, Vancouver. A reception began at 6:00 pm, with dinner starting at 7:00. Cost for non-members was $60.
Skål is the only international organization that brings together
all branches of the travel and tourism industry. Representing the industry's
managers and executives, Skålleagues meet at a local, national and
international level to discuss subjects of common interest. Skål now has more
than 20,000 members in over 450 Clubs, spread
