CHARLOTTETOWN, PEI—The Tourism Industry Association of Prince Edward Island (TIAPEI) hosted the Atlantic Canada Showcase (ACS) Oct. 5-7 at the Prince Edward Island Convention Centre, in Charlottetown.

Since its inception in 1994, this biennial event has exposed national and international travel trade to the tourism products and experiences available to their clients in Atlantic Canada.

Participants were treated to some of the best of what the four Atlantic provinces have to offer in culture, history, food and more.

“Having ACS on PEI is of tremendous value in showcasing our product to increase the numbers of motor coaches visiting Prince Edward Island,” said Kevin Mouflier, chair, Atlantic Canada Showcase 2014. “This year we are pleased to see an increase in international buyers of emerging markets from China and Korea. We are looking forward to seeing more visitors to Atlantic Canada from these emerging markets.”

Atlantic Canada Showcase 2016 will be held in New Brunswick.
