23 Canadian Super 8 hotels receive recognition

CALGARY — Twenty-three Canadian Super 8 properties have earned recognition as the Pride of Super 8 Hotels for 2015, it was announced on May 24.

CALGARY — Twenty-three Canadian Super 8 properties have earned recognition as the Pride of Super 8 Hotels for 2015, it was announced on May 24.

With newly revamped criteria in place, recipients of the award are recognized for several categories, which include performance on their latest Quality assurance evaluations, customer feedback scores (WynReview), engagement with the Wyndham Rewards program and the retention of good standing status with the company.  

“I am pleased to see the new and rigorous levels of performance required in order for hotels to qualify for this award,” said Marc Staniloff, president and CEO of Superior Lodging Corp., in a release.

“These 23 locations in Canada have accomplished levels of excellence which demonstrates their passion, commitment and dedication to their guests, their employees, to the brand and our industry,” he said.

Hotels receiving this distinction include: B.C. —  Vernon, Fort St. John; Alberta — Drayton Valley, Drumheller, Fort McMurray, Leduc, High Level, High River, Three Hills and St. Paul; Saskatchewan — Prince Albert; Ontario — Kapuskasing, Sault Ste. Marie, Peterborough, Port Elgin, Windsor; Quebec —  Lachenaie, Trois Rivieres, Quebec City; Atlantic Canada — Amherst, N.S.; Charlottetown, PEI; St. John’s, NL; and Yellowknife, NWT.
