LAS VEGAS–Angela Xavier, formerly Regional VP of Sales for Canada, has moved from Toronto to Atlanta in her new position as VP Sales for The Americas.
Jeff Krivoshen and Jonathan Lund of the Canadian Committee, IHG Owners Association, presented her with a box of Tim Hortons coffee for her new office at the IHG Conference in Las Vegas on Oct. 28.
“It's been a lot of fun,” Xavier told an assembled group of Canadian owners and managers. “I have worked seven years on the IHG side, and one of the things I can honestly say is that the level of commitment and collaboration in Canada is second to none.
“You have done an amazing job. Thanks, guys!”
Jolyon Bulley, COO The Americas for IHG, congratulated Xavier on her recent move. “Hopefully, she'll send some customers to Canada,” he said.
Bulley added that in the next four weeks IHG will be posting a job to replace Angela–but with a difference. The new IHG Canadian head will come under the operations side of the organization. He added that IHG has already identified a few candidates.
