NEW YORK — Stay Boutique Live, the Investment Edition, produced by BLLA and Stay Boutique will feature engaging, provocative on-stage content centralized around the various, often daunting, roles of investment in the sphere of boutique hospitality and lifestyle concepts providing a refreshing take on the investment conference.
This is the fifth edition of the conference and it coincides with the 10th anniversary of the BLLA. “A lot has changed in those 10 years, including the creation of Stay Boutique, opening up an entire new membership,” said Ariela Kiradjian, COO of BLLA and co-founder of Stay Boutique in an interview that also included her mother, Frances Kiradjian, founder of BLLA and co-founder of Stay Boutique.
“We are going to relaunch at the end of the summer, providing hard-hitting content for media and official guides [to boutique companies],” Ariela Kiradjian said. Part of the relaunch will be a new website, that will provide members with a place to connect publicly and privately with each other. “Ariela will address the rebranding, along with the first official list of new boutique and lifestyle companies,” Frances Kiradjian said.
The conference itself is an opportunity to network with like-minded, passionate professionals and learn about hospitality investment from distinguished individuals such as the iconic Ian Schrager, Scott Gerber of the Gerber Group, Jean-Luc Naret of La Réserve Hotels and Spas, and more than 36 speakers on June 5, 2019, in New York, NY.
“The conference is about the new age of what a boutique hotel is, with multi-concept brands and buildings. We are really excited to have Nadira Lalji, founder of Inhabit Hotels, based in London. She is a female founder and believes in lifestyle and wellness,” said Ariela Kiradjian. Prior to joining her family business, Nadira worked for Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts in Toronto and Monitor Group in London and New York.
Highlights of the event will involve more than 20 sessions including a Food and Beverage panel discussion between Jay Coldren, the Managing Director of Eat + Drink at Streetsense, Scott Gerber, CEO and Co-Founder of the Gerber Group, Tom Dillon, Co-Founder of APICII, and Julia Heyer, Managing Director of Heyer Performance, moderated by Jody Pennette, Principal of cb5 Hospitality Consulting.
The intimate discussion will revolve around the risks and rewards of implementation and renovation of a food and beverage program within the realm of boutique hospitality.
