ST. JOHN’S—The 86-room Courtyard by Marriott hotel located at 131
Duckworth St. in St. John’s, NL is preparing to begin a substantial
renovation of its public spaces and guestrooms scheduled to relaunch in July.

The lobby and restaurant, in particular, will showcase
an international modern flare with a nautical twist, in keeping with the
oceanic surroundings of the waterfront hotel and the passions of hotel
owner Jean Pierre Andrieux, who is a marine author.

The meeting spaces will also be redesigned and will be equipped with contemporary furniture and audiovisual components.

All
designs for this refresh have been completed by Moureaux Hauspy Design
Inc., a Montreal based architectural and interior design firm which
recently designed the Ritz-Carlton Montreal.
