Delta Fredericton ‘Hotel of the Year’ for 2013

Fredericton, NB—The Delta Fredericton Hotel won “Hotel of the Year” (Managed) for 2013 during the annual Delta Hotels and Resorts company award ceremony in late spring.

Fredericton, NB—The Delta Fredericton Hotel won “Hotel of the Year” (Managed) for 2013 during the annual Delta Hotels and Resorts company award ceremony in late spring. In addition, the hotel won the “Most Improved” award in the categories of Employee Engagement and Guest Satisfaction.

Each year, Delta Hotels and Resorts presents 10 awards to properties across the country. Categories include “Most Improved” and “Best in Class” for Employee Engagement, Guest Satisfaction, Financials and Food and Beverage. “Hotel of the Year” awards are given annually to two properties, one each for managed and franchised hotels.  

Given annually to two properties across Canada, the “Hotel of the Year” award is given to a Delta property that exceeds the expectations of employees, guests and owners. Hotel of the Year recipients must also meet or exceed their financial targets.

The Delta Fredericton’s commitment to continuous improvement in the Employee Engagement category led to its “Most Improved” award, with a 17 per cent increase in engagement year-over-year.
