WELLINGTON, Ont. — The Drake Devonshire Inn in Prince Edward
County picked up three prizes at the annual Hospitality Design Awards in New
York City in early June.

Presented by Hospitality
Design
magazine, the Wellington, Ont. property — with 11 rooms and two
suites — won Best in Show, Boutique/Lifestyle Hotel and Boutique/Lifestyle
Guestrooms or Suites. There were a total of 560 entries from around the
world.

To create the winning look, Jeff Stober, founder and chief
executive officer of Drake Hotel Properties, brought on John Tong of +tongtong
studio to reinvent a circa-1800 foundry.
