SEATTLE, Wash. — The Expedia group is rolling out Rev+, a revenue management tool, to the Canadian market, it was announced Feb. 1.
As part of Expedia PartnerCentral (EPC), the company’s partner portal, which is already live in the United States, helps hotels manage their properties and rates. Rev+ brings in new functionality enabling hoteliers to make pricing decisions to optimize revenue. The new management tool comes at no additional costs for hotel partners, and doesn’t require additional sign-up.
“Our hotel partners see value in the data we provide and have expressed a need for additional support, insights and access to greater intelligence to help them more effectively refine their revenue strategy and make informed business decisions,” said Benoit Jolin, vice-president of Expedia’s global product, in a release. “Rev+ was created from this feedback, along with months of testing that informed the first version of the product. The phased rollout is starting now, and we expect to make additional enhancements over the coming months.”
Expedia’s Rev+ provides hotel partners a view of pricing opportunities in their market and the tools to take advantage of them.
Every hotel partner can customize their competitive set with the five to 20 properties with whom they compete most, ensuring relevant insights are available to them.
Expedia plans to gradually roll out Rev+ to hotel partners across the world.
