Fogo Island Inn offers Pyjama Time Sleepaway

Fogo Island Inn is offering a two-night Pyjama Time Sleepaway featuring all meals, excursions, a designer’s reception and special bedtime readings.

FOGO ISLAND, NL — Fogo Island Shop has partnered with Toronto-based designer Jeremy Laing and Fogo Island Arts alumnus Zin Taylor to produce a limited run of unisex pyjamas. To mark the collaboration, Fogo Island Inn is offering a two-night Pyjama Time Sleepaway featuring all meals, excursions, a designer’s reception and special bedtime readings. The itinerary runs Nov.1 through to Nov. 30.

Pyjama Time Sleepaway, Day One: After arrival and check-in, guests dine in the property’s restaurant, with a meal prepared by the Inn’s Kitchen Collective.

After supper, guests can unwind in the rooftop hot tubs or wood-fired sauna before returning to their rooms. Also offered is a screening of Strange and Familiar: Architecture on Fogo Island, in the Inn’s 37-seat cinema.

Next day, guests wake up to find, outside their door, a Day Break “Tackle Box” featuring tea/coffee and pastries.

During November, guests are welcome to wear their pyjamas in the dining room at breakfast.

The day continues with a hosted island orientation as guests explore unique communities and learn about local traditions and rituals.

Following lunch at Fogo Island Inn, guests can participate in a workshop themed on quilting, boatbuilding or art. In late afternoon, guests return to Fogo Island Inn for a Designer’s Reception to toast the pyjamas and learn about the design process.

After supper at Fogo Island Inn, guests have the choice of an evening of local musical entertainment in the lounge, viewing a film (with traditional movie snacks) in the in-house cinema, or relaxing in their suite.

Day three starts with the Day Break “Tackle Box,” after which guests breakfast in the dining room. They then depart for the ferry and official program ends.
