Hampton Inn and 50 new jobs for St. John's

TORONTO—Manga Hotels today announced the opening of its newest
property, the 129-room Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton St. John’s Airport,
located at 411 Stavanger Drive. It is the first Hampton property in St. John’s and the 37th in the
country.

“Hampton
combines quality, innovation, comfort and plenty of value-added extras, making
it the brand of choice in the marketplace today,” said Greg Ivany, general manager, Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton St. John’s Airport.

The hotel is owned and
operated by Manga Hotels, an Ontario-based private company that acquires,
builds and manages properties in Canada and the U.S.

Owner Sukhdev Toor notes
that he is excited to bring a Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton to St. John’s
and says, “this brings an estimated 50 new jobs to the St. John’s area so we
are glad to add that to the local economy.”

The hotel offers easy access to many shops, businesses,
restaurants and local attractions, including the Cape Spear Lighthouse and the
George Street Entertainment District, The Health Sciences Centre, Janeway
Children's Hospital and the Memorial University of Newfoundland.  

It features
amenities, such as free hot breakfast, modern fitness facility, indoor salt
water pool and 2,500 sq ft of flexible meeting space that can accommodate up to
170 people banquet style.
