Hospitality NL holding industry consultation sessions

ST. JOHN’S, NL — Hospitality NL is inviting members to industry feedback events in which members can provide valuable feedback in areas critical to the development of the tourism industry.

ST. JOHN’S, NL — Hospitality NL is inviting members to industry feedback events in which members will be provided with an opportunity to provide valuable feedback in areas critical to the growth and development of the tourism industry, including a facilitated discussion on room levies.

Dates and locations:

Corner Brook, Tuesday, October 11th at the Greenwood Inn & Suites from 4:30 – 6:30 pm

Springdale, Wednesday, October 12th at the Riverwood Inn from from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Twillingate, Thursday, October 13th at the Anchor Inn Hotel from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm 

Industry feedback is essential to guide advocacy efforts and identify solutions to address important issues facing the tourism industry.

There is no cost to attend an industry feedback event; however, participants are asked to register by contacting Leslie Rossiter, Hospitality NL’s Manager of Policy and Communications, at lrossiter@hnl.ca or call 1-800-563-0700 ext. 222.

In addition, Hospitality NL has partnered with Christina Miranda to offer a series of one-day workshops, Making  Smart Business Choices: Spending Time & Money Wisely in the Tourism Industry.

Founder of New York City-based Redpoint Marketing PR, Miranda will provide tips and tools to make smarter decisions that align with business goals.

Topics include product development with a purpose: setting your business apart; and guest relations: making relationships, not transactions.

Workshops will be held Oct. 11, in Corner Brook; Oct. 12, in St. John's; and Oct. 14, in Gander.
