TORONTO—The Omni King Edward Hotel announced the
appointment of Christophe Le Chatton as general manager.
hotelier, Le Chatton has broad experience in the luxury hospitality industry.
In this new position, he will oversee Toronto’s first luxury hotel, which
opened more than 110 years ago, and a multi-million dollar renovation.
Le Chatton joins Omni from Relais & Chateaux:
Langdon Hall Country House and Spa where he served as general manager.
Prior to Relais & Chateaux, Le Chatton worked for Fairmont Hotels and
Resorts where he held various positions over 10 years for properties in the
U.S., Canada and China. Most recently, he served as hotel manager at the Fairmont
Peace Hotel in Shanghai. He came to the Shanghai property from Fairmont
Scottsdale Princess where he also served as hotel manager, responsible for all
operational aspects of the AAA Five Diamond property. Le Chatton also served as director of
operations at Fairmont Le Château Frontenac in Québec City and executive
assistant manager and the director of food and beverage operations at Fairmont
Royal York Hotel in Toronto.
Prior to his time with Fairmont Hotels and Resorts,
Le Chatton served as the
director of food and beverage operations and New York City cluster leader at
the Waldorf Astoria Hotel New York responsible for all aspects of food and
beverage, overseeing 850 employees, 55 directors and managers and generating more
than $80 million in annual food and beverage revenue.
