COLLINGWOOD, Ont. — Cranberry Golf Resort, an all-season family destination located in
Collingwood, Ontario, has opened Memories Restaurant
& Bar, an Italian-inspired restaurant onsite at the resort.

The new eatery
serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, and features locally sourced
ingredients, weekly specials, and live music. The resort celebrated a
grand-opening event on February 22, 2018 that included food, entertainment, and
presentations by local dignitaries.

Event organizers handed out recipe cards and “build
your own pizza” baskets that included the restaurant’s signature homemade pizza
sauces and dough. Collingwood Mayor Sandra Cooper spoke at the event, as well
as Cranberry Golf Resort executives Larry Law, Don Buckle, and Warren Smith.

Memories Restaurant & Bar, which has a maximum
capacity of 80 people, has other popular Italian dishes besides pizza on the
dinner menu, such as portobello ravioli, roasted porchetta, and chicken
marsala. Other soon-to-be favourites include cedar-plank baked wild salmon and a
quinoa-stuffed baby eggplant boat. There also is a large selection of spirits,
cocktails, wine, beer, and specialty coffees.

“We are thrilled to bring authentic Italian-inspired
cuisine to the guests of Cranberry Golf Resort, as well as to residents of
Collingwood and beyond,” said Shinto Joseph, director of food and beverage. “No
matter which meal of the day, diners can find deliciously satisfying fare for
the entire family.”
