ORLANDO — Palm Holdings has won Marriott Developer of the Year in Canada and Marriott Development Project of the Year honours, both of which were announced Dec. 11 during the Marriott conference in Orlando, Fla.

Marriott bestowed the award with respect to the Marriott Courtyard in Waterloo, Ont., and the Marriott Towne Place Suites in London, Ont., both of which Palm Holdings owns and manages.

“A critical part of (the Marriott awards) was exceeding expectations at the opening of the Marriott Towne Place Suites in London” which took place in February of this year, said Anil Taneja, Palm Holdings president, North America. “The product quality, opening team and hotel performance was a major contributor in winning the award.”
