TORONTO—With five Days
Inn properties opening across Canada, hotel franchisor Realstar Hospitality added
362 rooms to its portfolio in less than two months.
Days Hotel & Suites Grande Cache in Alberta opened on June 2 with 145 guestrooms with flat-screen
TVs, microwaves, mini-fridges and free high-speed Internet. Amenities include an
on-site restaurant and lounge and exercise suite. Meeting and conference
facilities along with an on-site business centre are also available.
In Leamington, ON, Days Inn has undertaken a complete renovation and offers 77 updated guestrooms,
an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool and sauna, and meeting and event space. The
updated hotel opened in mid-May.
In North Bay, ON, the newly
renovated conversion property opened on June 6 and features 40 guestrooms and
suites, free Daybreak Café breakfast, on-site fitness centre and business
centre and an on-site restaurant.
The completely
renovated 50-room Days Inn in
Stouffville, ON, opened June 24 and offers a fitness centre, along with
business centre and meeting facilities.
The Days Inn in
Montgomery, QC, opened with 50 rooms on July 3.
