TORONTO—It’s been an unprecedented year for conversion and new construction growth, as one of the country’s most active hotel franchisors continues its aggressive development strategy.

Realstar Hospitality added over 875 rooms to its portfolio with the opening of 12 hotels in 2014. Encompassing five provinces across the country, the openings include:

  • o Days Inn – Vernon, British Columbia

  • o Days Hotel & Suites – Grande Cache, Alberta

  • o Days Inn – Leamington, Ontario

  • o Days Inn – North Bay, Ontario

  • o Days Inn & Suites – Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario

  • o Days Inn – Stouffville, Ontario

  • o Days Inn – Sioux Lookout, Ontario

  • o Days Inn – Woodstock, Ontario

  • o Days Inn – Montmagney, Quebec

  • o Days Inn & Conference Centre – Dalhousie, New Brunswick

  • o Motel 6 – Airdrie, Alberta

  • o Motel 6 – Innisfail, Alberta
