TORONTO — In honour of Valentine’s Day, The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto is offering special menus, spa treatments and an ultimate romance package throughout February, it was announced earlier this month.
For example, DEQ Lounge’s Sweetheart Tea includes mood-enhancing foods as grilled oyster mushroom bruschetta; truffle, spinach and gruyere quiche; guajillo chili and Mayan chocolate pralines; prosciutto-wrapped asparagus with straciatella cheese, and banana custard eclairs.
Spa My Blend by Clarins is offering the It Takes Two package, or the All You Need is Love treatment, which includes a body wrap, rebalancing massage, facial, manicure and pedicure.
TOCA restaurant is serving a five-course menu of Quebec foie gras and chocolate terrine with cherries, ricotta gnocchi with mussels and clams, choice of Fiorentina steak or branzino to share and chocolate hazelnut mousse.
Plus, there’s the Endless Love package. Starting at $8,000 per night, it includes an in-suite privately catered dinner by executive chef; premium wines with a selection of cheeses from the restaurant’s cave; rose-petal turndown; luxury transportation from the airport (YYZ or YTZ) or complimentary valet parking; breakfast in bed the next morning.
