BELLVILLE, ON—On Oct. 3, ground was broken for
a 100-room Marriott at 400 Bell Blvd., the site of
the company William Hotels the Bay of Quinte Region’s newest hotel.

In March, the company, which owns and
operates three hotels in Belleville, ON, announced plans for the Marriott Towneplace Suites new build.

The project is being constructed by K
Knudsen Construction Limited of Belleville working with Alexander Wilson
Architects. The hotel is expected to open in August of 2014.

“Towneplace Suites by Marriott is exactly
what the Belleville market needs and what our current guests have been asking
for,” stated vice-president Brad Williams. “We are as confident as ever that
this brand will meet the current demand that our long term clients are seeking
at our existing properties, and future demand within the Bay of Quinte area.”
