WOODSTOCK, ONT. — Latest results show Southwestern Ontario hotels doing very well. Year to date, revenue per available room is up 7.2 per cent over the same period last year, according to the Dec. 13 edition of the Southwest Ontario Tourism Corporation e-newsletter, which also noted that the average for Canada as a whole is 3.4 per cent.
For the month of October, Windsor, Ont. experienced occupancy gains of 16.9 per cent, while RevPAR was up 32.9 per cent.
