SW Ontario hotels thriving

WOODSTOCK, ONT. — The latest results show Ontario’s Southwest hotels are thriving, as tear to date, revenue per available room is up 7.2 per cent over the same period last year.

WOODSTOCK, ONT. — The latest results show Ontario’s Southwest hotels are thriving. Year to date, revenue per available room is up 7.2 per cent over the same period last year, according to the Dec. 13 edition of Southwest Ontario Tourism Corporation’s enewsletter, which also noted that the average for Canada as a whole is 3.4 per cent.

For the month of October, Windsor experienced occupancy increases of 16.9 per cent, while RevPAR rose 32.9 per cent.
