CALGARY — Canadian Travelodges accounted for one third of North American TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence winners.

Travelodge Canada is proud to announce that eight
Travelodge by Wyndham hotels across Canada were recognized with TripAdvisor’s 2018
Certificate of Excellence designation. TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence
honours hospitality businesses that deliver consistently great service across
the world. A total of 24 North American Travelodge properties received the
designation for 2018, including the following eight hotels in Canada:

— Travelodge Hotel & Conference Centre Regina

— Travelodge Strathmore

— Travelodge Suites Halifax Dartmouth

— Travelodge Suites Saint John

— Thriftlodge Moose Jaw

— Travelodge Kapuskasing

— Travelodge Spruce Grove

— Travelodge Hotel & Convention Centre Quebec City

“Travelodge Canada is proud to have eight Canadian
properties recognized for the prestigious TripAdvisor Certificate of
Excellence”, said Trevor Hagel, executive vice-president, operations, Travelodge
Canada. “This designation is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the general managers and staff at these exceptional hotels. The TripAdvisor
Certificate of Excellence is a seal of approval from our loyal guests, who
strongly value the Travelodge brand.”

This designation is awarded to approximately 10 per cent of
total businesses on TripAdvisor that have consistently achieved great customer
reviews and outstanding ratings over the past year. Specifically, winners have
earned a bubble rating of at least four out of five, accrued a minimum number
of reviews and have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least the past 12 months.
There is no application process for the Certificate of Excellence, and the
achievement is earned over time.

The list contains a diverse group of employers from various industries – from energy to finance to construction. But one commonality among all the companies on the list is that they each boast a strong corporate culture. Of course, factors such as job security and compensation and benefits are always going to matter to employees. But, in a candidate-driven market where job seekers have a lot of options, a positive corporate culture, sense of community and a strong mission can really help set companies apart.
