TORONTO — Toronto's Marriott Downtown Eaton Centre in late November unveiled a multi-million-dollar renovation with updated guestrooms and expanded in-room entertainment options.
There are 49-inch flat-screen TVs in guestrooms and 55-inch flatscreen TVs in all suites. Other additions include large chaise lounges that double as a pullout bed. Most bathtubs have been replaced with walk-in showers and spa-like lighting. Mobile keyless entry will also be offered starting this fall.
The newly redesigned Toronto Marriott Downtown Eaton Centre offers MVP, a digital platform that replicates the in-home entertainment experience via GuestTek's Managed Video Platform. Through a 2015 partnership with Netflix, the hotel now provides access to Netflix, YouTube and more. In addition, Marriott Rewards members receive complimentary high-speed Internet access.
Other amenities include a newly renovated 24-hour fitness centre located on the 18th floor with brand new equipment, views of downtown Toronto and an indoor pool.
Toronto Marriott Hotel Eaton Centre now features a Greatroom lobby serving as a social gathering place. In addition, the Concierge Lounge has been completely updated. Snacks and beverages, including complimentary full breakfast buffet and evening hot/cold hors d'oeuvres, are available to guests who have Concierge Lounge access.
Also offered is Marriott’s Signature Bourbon Program, featuring noteworthy bourbon brands, signature cocktails, pours and locally curated bourbon flights.
