Warren Adamson passes away at 74

ALLISTON, ONT. — Following a brave battle with cancer, Warren Bruce Adamson passed away on Sept. 22 at the age of 74, it was announced in late October.

ALLISTON, ONT. — Following a brave battle with cancer, Warren Bruce Adamson passed away on Sept. 22 at the age of 74, it was announced in late October.

Adamson made a remarkable contribution to the Canadian hospitality industry. He began his career at Pannell Kerr Forester and Commonwealth Hospitality before joining Ramada Franchise Canada as president. Adamson later transitioned to president and COO of AFM Hospitality Corp. and then wound up his career at InnOps and InnLand Hospitality, where his final focus was developing the Red Pine Inn, in Alliston, Ont.

Adamson will be remembered by his friends, family and colleagues for his tremendous charisma, kindness, integrity and perfectly timed one-liners. He is survived by his daughters, Erin D’Ovidio, Megan Garner, Kourtney Adamson and Calie Adamson, and his grandchildren Anthony and Olivia D’Ovidio, Karlee and Hannah Garner and Benjamin Galluzzo.

In lieu of flowers, Adamson’s family asks that donations be made to the Dorothy Ley Hospice, where he was looked after in his final days.
