Carlson Rezidor appoints new Canadian director of development

MINNEAPOLIS — Jolene Reid was appointed director of development for Canada for Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group on Nov. 18.

MINNEAPOLIS — Jolene Reid was appointed director of development
for Canada for Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group on Nov. 18.

Reid will be based in Halifax and report to Phil
Silberstein, executive vice-president of development, Americas.

Representing all of Carlson Rezidor’s hotel brands, Reid will
focus on the growth of Country Inns & Suites By Carlson and work to
indentify opportunities for the Radisson RED brand.

“We have aggressive goals for growth in Canada and Jolene
will be an asset in allowing us to achieve those goals,” Silberstein said.

Reid was previously director of development for Travelodge
Canada and focused on growing the brand in Quebec and Atlantic Canada.

Prior to joining Carlson Rezidor, Reid launched a chain of
spa franchises in Canada and retained a master territory licence for a global
automotive service chain.
