Chelsea Toronto’s Ken Gruber named BIA board chair

TORONTO — The Chelsea Hotel, Toronto announced on March 10 that director of marketing Ken Gruber has been appointed chair, board of directors for the Downtown Yonge Business Improvement Area.

For the past 10 years, Gruber has served as a member of the marketing committee as well as an executive member of the BIA board. The chair’s role focuses on maintaining the integrity of the board’s process, and the board’s job is to make specific contributions to assure the organization reaches its desired goals.

With more than 30 years of industry experience, Gruber will create a culture of continuous improvement for the Downtown Yonge BIA. The Chelsea Hotel, Toronto has been an active member for approximately 20 years.

The Downtown Yonge Business Improvement Area neighbourhood offers vibrant urban experiences and events in the heart of downtown Toronto thanks to a thriving and diverse community of retailers, restaurants and services.
