PARSIPPANY, NJ—Geoff Ballotti w
ill succeed Wyndham Hotel Group president and CEO Eric Danziger,
who is leaving the company on March 28 to pursue personal interests.
Ballotti comes to his new position from Wyndham Exchange & Rentals, where he has served as president and chief executive officer since March 2008. In this role, Ballotti
oversaw more than 8,000 associates working in 72 offices in 33
countries. As president and CEO, he managed Wyndham Vacation Rentals, a
diverse collection of more than 25 vacation rentals
brands from around the world, and RCI, the global leader in vacation
exchange with a network of more than 4,000 affiliated resorts around the
world and more than 3.7 million members. Prior to joining Wyndham
Worldwide, Ballotti was president of the North America division of
Starwood Hotels and Resorts.
Danziger has led Wyndham Hotel Group since Dec. 1, 2008. He has more than 30 years of hotel industry experience, starting as a
bellman at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco and growing into
progressively senior roles in hotel operations, general management and
regional operations. At one point he was president and COO of Carlson Hotels
Worldwide, which includes
hospitality brands Radisson Hotels Worldwide and
Country Inns and Suites.

When Ballotti moves over to Wyndham Hotel Group, Gail Mandel, CFO of Wyndham Exchange & Rental will assume additional responsibilities as COO for the division, reporting to Holmes.
