TORONTO–Canada's largest hotel, the Eaton Chelsea, has pledged $500,000 over five years to support the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.

The hotel also presented SickKids with a cheque for $86,000 raised at their annual golf tournament. Over the years, the hotel has raised $750,000 at the golf tournament.

The hotel supplies about 100 rooms per month to families whose children are being treated at SickKids through its Chelsea Cares program.

The announcement was made earlier this month at an Artist in Residence event held in the hotel lobby.

Visitors to the Eaton Chelsea may have noticed unusual photo artwork on the walls of the lobby. Each picture combines scenes from Toronto past with images showing the same location today.
