opened a Montreal office headed up by Monique Rosszell, AACI, MRICS, ISHC and
MSc, MRICS who joined the company recently. HVS has other Canadian offices in Toronto,
Calgary and Vancouver.

to understanding the heart of the lodging industry in this province. Given the
pair’s vast hotel appraisal knowledge and bilingualism, HVS is now much better
positioned to offer its variety of services provincewide to a dynamic industry
which is witnessing significant growth.

attaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Queen’s University, she fell in
love with the hotel industry in Japan and subsequently enrolled in the Master’s
program in Hotel and Restaurant Management at the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne.
After numerous years in hotel operations, her hotel passion subsequently led
her to attaining both her AACI and her MRICS appraisal designations in Canada.

thousands of valuations and feasibility studies, including transaction and
portfolio valuations throughout Canada and the USA. She also offers hoteliers
and developers brand search and contract negotiation support. Given her vast
knowledge of the Quebec hotel markets and fluency in French, HVS has a strong
presence in the Province of Quebec. She also offers litigation and expert
witness support, speaks at numerous annual conferences, authors articles
including the annual Canadian Hotel
Valuation Index and is a well trusted advisor within the lodging industry
in Central and Eastern Canada.
Ayda Chamcham is a graduate of the National Institute of Applied Sciences
(INSA) in Rouen- France with two Masters degrees in Engineering. She
subsequently worked as a civil engineer and project manager in France. While
receiving her Master’s degree in Urban and Real Estate Management through the
ESSEC Business School in Paris, she worked for a Real Estate Investment Fund
and became well versed in commercial and industrial appraisals. Chamcham then
went on to obtain her Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
designation based on her construction experience with the Project Management
